    Region Nord’s production is concentrated on whitefish and marine farming.

    Region Nord’s production is concentrated on whitefish and marine farming. The whitefish segment, which employs over 500 persons, purchases more than 50,000 tonnes of wild catch fish from over 600 vessels annually. With Region Nord’s marine farming segment, Lerøy Aurora has marine farms in Troms and Finnmark, in addition to its own slaughterhouse, processing and packing production at Skjervøy. The company is self-sufficient with smolt through its wholly owned subsidiary Laksefjord AS, and with cleaner fish (lumpfish) through Senja Akvakultursenter AS.

    Region Midt has around 500 employees, and has own production of brood fish, smolt, cleaner fish, edible fish, a slaughter plant and value added processing production. The new industrial plant at Hitra will be officially opened in 2018. The company is one of the region's leading salmon producers, and operates along the coast of central Norway.

    Region Vest has its own production of brood fish, smolt, cleaner fish, edible fish, a slaughter plant and value added processing production.

    Region Vest has around 500 employees, and has own production of brood fish, smolt, cleaner fish, edible fish, a slaughter plant and value added processing production. Lerøy Sjøtroll’s “Tube Cage”, a floating, closed-containment post-smolt installation, where salmon smolt are produced in the “Tube Cage”. Construction is also underway of a recirculating aquaculture system (RAS) in Fitjar Municipality, which will be the world’s largest land-based smolt production plant, holding 24 000 cubic metres of water for production of quality smolt. The plant is scheduled for completion mid-2019, but will commence production already in the autumn of 2018. We have established 5 Growth centres – which supervise the feeding of fish at all the marine farms.
