Pan-fried cod with salad

    • 640 g cod fillet, skinned and boned
    • 4 tbsp butter
    • 2 tbsp seaweed powder or 1/2 tsp salt
    • 4 turns of a pepper grinder
    • 4 handfuls mixed salad

  1. Fire up the Primus stove if cooking outdoors or heat a frying pan in your kitchen.
  2. Melt the butter and fry the cod over a medium heat.
  3. Sprinkle over the seaweed powder, pepper and a little salt to taste.
  4. Fry the fish until it starts to flake, around 4-5 minutes.
  5. Add some extra butter to the pan at the end to make a bit more sauce.
  6. Plate the fish on top of a handful of salad.
